In Japan, Karaoke means empty orchestra. "Kara" means empty and "oke" means orchestra. It basically means that the song is empty of the lead vocalist. It encourages those in the audience to be that lead vocalist. It is widely believed that karaoke started in a small snack bar in Kobe city. As the story goes, the bar's scheduled entertainer failed to show up one night. Not wanting to disappoint his customer, the owner decided to play instrumental tapes of popular songs and give people the opportunity to sing along. Koreans and East Asian love singing and partying all night long~~!

Reservation Cancellation / No Show Policy:
We recommend that guests arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their reserved time. If no one checks in by their reserved time, your room may not be available and we are not responsible if the room is taken by another party.
Note: We will do our best to reserve the room for your needs. We prefer that you contact us after 6 p.m. to reserve a room. We'll confirm if we do not have any more rooms available or we'll tell you the time when one is available for your party. A weekend reservation requires a party of 8 or more.
